My own extensive pressure testing in numerous cartridges shows only the normal lot to lot variation between Hercules and Alliant 2400s. It can work in a .45 Colt but the .45 ACP case capacity is below the level for optimum use with 2400. In this case, .45 ACP, Unique would be MUCH the preferred powder.
